DREC CHARTER

DREC, ( DIECUTTING Resource Exposition & Conference ) is a group of loosely associated companies ( Sponsors ), with a common purpose. The DREC name is the essence of our existence and clearly states our purpose, which is to present a technical conference concerning the many facets of the Steel Rule Diemaking and Diecutting Industry, and to provide an opportunity to display, demonstrate, and discuss the products and services of the sponsoring companies. The means to achieve this stated purpose, is to establish small participant friendly "shows" taken to the diemakers and diecutters, in both single city as well as traveling multi city "road shows" throughout North America.

DREC is a not-for profit group of sponsors. The term not-for profit must be taken in it's proper context. It is not our intention to directly profit from the "show" by way of charging the participants, or in any way derive a cash profit from the production of the exposition and conference. Any gain derived from the "show" by the individual sponsors, would be in the area of product recognition, product introduction, and possible future sales. On site sales are not encouraged.

A DREC "show" will be a balanced presentation of a non-commercial technical seminar as well ample opportunity for the "show" participants to view and discuss products and services with the sponsors.

A sponsor must be a member of DREC in order to participate. The sponsor must adopt the Charter and By-Laws of DREC and agree to adhere to the same. Cost associated with the production of a DREC "show" will be borne equally by all participating sponsors. Membership as a DREC sponsor carries with it certain responsibilities. A sponsor company must fully participate in all aspects of the show. They must assist with marketing, solicitation of participants, logistics, and production of the "show". A sponsoring company, must by its very nature, be important to the industry and be a draw to the participants.

A committee formed from the member sponsors will have the responsibility of Steering DREC and will establish the content, schedule and location of the shows, as well as determine the sponsor participants.
